Next Monday Partners Life as launching their new quote software (Quote V2) which has a number of improvements and additions to their previous version. It also has an improved user interface making it easier for advisers to input client information and select benefits.
The new software has underwriting rules built in as well as a number of limits and validations. Hundreds more occupation codes have been added and the system is also able to automatically list any relevant exclusions to the client based on their age and occupation code.
The ability to add loadings has been added as a feature and many more options added for employment status.
The new quote software is the first phase of a much wider tech plan by the insurer.
Launching on the 19th of November is the underwriting track and trace tool. Partners Life will connect with Konnect allowing advisers to access many details throughout the underwriting process including real-time updates, notes, communications, and a GP look-up facility.
A number of other tech updates such as an online app tool are due to be rolled out late 2018/early 2019.
