Quotemonster is celebrating a big uptick in usage, which means we passed a cool new milestone: 100 concurrent users. That means of about 3,500 to 4,000 possible users, of which about 2,000 are regular users, 100 were all doing quotes and research within the same minute on the site.
We are delighted – for lots of reasons. One is that more advisers are using research, especially our research, to help clients and validate their advice. Another is that this is probably a reasonably big undercount – we also have several hundred advisers that connect using our API, and so do not even show up in the website usage. A third is that the shift to cloud infrastructure a few months ago meant that our cloud service provider automatically switches on additional processing capability (within nano-seconds, it is so cool) to meet increased demand – so we can cope with loads of advisers using the service all at once.
